Term 4, Week 7!

Yesterday we had the road patrol party at the town pools to celabrate the comitment of keeping children safe on the roads of the waiararapa! It was very fun because most of my friends were there and there were ice blocks and a lollie scramble!

When I got back from the pools I did mulching, but I wasn't surposed to so I asked again and she said yes! I worked very hard!

This week we had art with Kate. We are drawing bugs and then putting textures on them and then putting them through a etching press!

We also had athletics last week on Wednesday and Friday! It was very fun.

We have tec today and I have cooking! I enjoy cooking, it is heaps of fun.

Week 4, Term 4!

This week we have been doing malching beside the creek and Mrs Mac was timing us to run the malsh from the malsh pile to the creek, my time was 45 seconds!

Last week the band won battle of the bands and we got a glass trophey and a big plak!

Week 2, Term 4!

This week has been a hard week because we have been doing a lot of planting and mulching, it is really hard work on your back! But it is for a good cause!

Today is Tech and I am in cooking and we are making stuff that has rice in it, I am normally partners with Ryan Stevens but we are supposed to change partners every week!

Week 1, Term 4!

This Friday we are planting plants down by the creek to help lizards go there!

This term the year eights are leaving and they are having their dinner!

I think we are also going on camp this term!

Term 3, Week 8!

Today we are going to tec and I am in Hardtec and I am making a late fathers day present for my dad! It is a shield with 'Happy fathers day, 2010!' written on it!

The production is going well, we are having alot of practices and it it getting very tiring. I encourage you to go to it, it is on Wednesday 22nd 11:00 and 7:00 and Thursday 23rd 7:00!

Week 7

Today we are going to tec and I have hard tec again, I have to finish off my box by painting it!

The production is going very well, we are having alot of practices! I think the real production will be really cool!!!

Week 5, Term 3!

This week the teachers have been having a crack down on behavior and respect to teachers and our teacher is having a rule that if u get a orange card you lose 10 credits!

Today we have Tec like every other Thursday. Year 7 boys are in hard Tec and at the moment we are making a box!

Week 3, Term 3

This week has been a very mucky week!

It is tec today and I have hard tec with other year 7 boys! I am making a fake bug with wire legs and a wooden body!

Week 2, Term 3

Today we are going to tec and year 7 boys, which is me, are doing metal work. Last week I made a grass hopper!

On Monday we had art class with kate but i only went in the morning because i had dress practice for the music concert!

4th day back from the holidays and we have tec today, year 7's are doing hard tec and we have to make insects with metal and wire!

Term 2, Week 10.

Today we have Mrs H as our teacher, we also have tec at 1 o'clock! I am making a building apron for myself, I will probably finish it today!

After ICT, we are going to the libary to do a task about gross facts and change or renew our libary books!

Week 9, Term 2.

On Wednesday (yesterday) I did my speech for the semi finals in the jim. Annie Ruddock and I got in to the finals at Gladstone. I did my speech on my passion which is wood work! I think i did really well and i am comfident for the finals! By the way i have to learn it off by heart!

Term 2, Week 8.

Today we have tec at 1 o'clock.

Our topic this week in class is disasters such as the napier earth-quake!

We have also been saying our speeches! And guess what... While Aidan was doing his speech he wanted Pip to help him, and I got to take her music lesson with Gage on the drums! By the way, Aidan was doing his speech on guitars and I did mine on wood-work, Mr Williams said it was one of the best ones!

Week 7, Term 2!

Today we are going to tec like usuall, I'm doing sewing, I don't like it that much because the sewing machine always gets tangled up. We are making BBQ apron, but i'm makeing a building apron!

Tommorow it is + country and I have to run for ages, I dont think I can handle it!

Next week it is the week of speeches, I am really confident about it and I think I will do really well!

Term 2, Week 5.

Today is Thursday as usual! And we are going to tec at 1 0'clock.
We are doing sewing in tec, I don't really like it much, it's pretty hard!
The thread always gets tangled up.

This week we picked a poem of our choice that we thought was the best. We painted a back-ground to suit our poem and then wrote the poem onto the back-ground in black! Mine is about war.

Term 2, Week 4.

For the last 3 weeks we have been learning how to write different poems and different types of poems. This is a poem I wrote with a twist:...

Battlefield!

In your buncker,

We had to paint a backround on a piece of paper and we wern't alloud to use any black!
Then once it had dried we had to paint that poem on to the dry paint with black or white!

week 1, term 2.

Today is Thursday and once again we are going to tec at 1:00pm. It is the last time of this topic... WOOD-WORK!!!! YAY!!!! I have nearly finished my toy, I will probably finish it today!

In the holidays I went to my grandads! We went fishing, but I caught nothing. :( But I caught 2 flounder in the flounder net!

I also got to water buiscuting in a really wide river. water buiscuting is when youn sit in a blow up circle tire tube (not a normal one) and you get towed at speeds up to 45 km behind a ski boat! It was really fun!!

When I got to my grandads he was building a deer crate to put his deer in to sell them! I got to help to build it, i got to drill holes in the ply wood and through the steel and pot rivit through them! that was fun aswell!

Then I got to go to a toy-makers house in Featherston, and he helped me make a dump truck! He is realy skilled in wood-work and could be making 1000's of dollars with the stuff he makes with wood! I vanished it to give it the finishing touch!

I had a really fun time at my grandads, I'll probably be going there again next holidays!

Week 8

Today we have tec and i'm making a toy, but it's a surprise! And my best friend is making a toy car. Right now I am in ICT! After this we are going to the libary!

Week 7

Hi, as i say every time i post a new post, today is tec at 1 o'clock! We year 7 boys are doing woodwork! Mr Hoskings is our teacher and he is really cool! we are making a toy for boys and girls!

Maths swap has started, i'm in the highest class... room 3 (Mr Lockington)! I think it's too hard for me though, but a challenge is good!

Week 6

Today is Thursday, we are going to tec at 1 O'clock!
Our butterflies have hacted and flew away!
We are still learning about statistics!

This week we have been learning about data!

We have been doing all-sorts of activitys like data squres and posters for in, on and around water!
